Description:
The first two words 桃园 means "garden of peaches", so make a guess what the PEACH GARDEN card does? When this card is used, every player that is still alive in the game recoups 1 unit of health. Everybody happy? Not necessarily. In fact most players that draw this card either uses it with care or choose to discard it altogether. That is because it also heals the bugger whom you wanna kill. Therefore this card usually brings more headache than smiles.

What it does:
Heals 1 unit of health for every player still alive. Note: this card cannot be used to rescue a player at the brink of death. Plus, this card is a tool card and, therefore, is susceptible to NEGATE 无懈可击.

How to use it:
Toss the damn card on to the table. Beat your hands unto your chest for added effect.

Historical basis:
Right at the beginning chapters of Romance of the Three Kingdoms is the story of how Liu Bei 刘备, Guan Yu 关羽 and Zhang Fei 张飞 met by chance. Seeing that all three have the same goal of accomplishing something great for their country, the three of them decided to become sworn brothers. Thus a ceremony was performed in Zhang Fei 张飞's backyard, which so happens to be a peach garden. It is at this ceremony that the famous phrase was spoken:

"不求同年同月同日生,但求同年同月同日死"
"We seek not to be born in the same day, month, year. We merely hope to die in the same day, month, year."

This phrase is often used today in soap operas/dramas in the Chinese society.

Though this oath-taking is a very small part in the entire Romance of Three Kingdoms story, nonetheless the brotherhood of the 3 characters play a very pivotal part in as the story progresses. Read more about the oath-taking at the peach garden on Wikipedia!

  1. So technically, I am able to be use this card even when I have full health but with others wounded?!?

Even when the everyone else is not wounded except myself?!?

Even when the whole table(including myself) is not wounded?!?

    >>ANS: Yup. Only those that are wounded would heal. Nothing happens to you.

    >>ANS: Yup. Ssshh!! That is one of the very few ways you can "discard" an on-hand card in the action phase. ;)

  3. So does this apply to peach too? Meaning i play peach just because i am hungry and wants to eat it even though i am at full health?

  4. Also i figured this means i can use Peach Garden and Negate to stop a particulate player from getting healed while the rest enjoys the healing~~ Am I right?

    >>ANS: No it does not apply to peach. The logic is that Peach Garden is a tool card, Peach is a basic card. They have different rules.

    >>ANS: Yes that's right.

  6. If Zhou Tai is on the brink of death, and another player uses the Peach Farm, will Zhou Tai get 'healed', as in lose a card? Or since he is on the brink of death and since you cannot save someone, he cannot be healed.

  7. ^It depends on which "Brink of Death" you are talking about.

As long as Zhou Tai does not have cards with same number on his character card, you may use PEACH GARDEN to "heal" him. He can choose 1 card no his character card of his choice to be discarded. (Not the most recent one stated on Zhou Tai's page)

If Zhou Tai flips a card with identical number on any card on his character card, he dies immediately. No one can save him.

P.S. You may use PEACH GARDEN only in your action phase.

  8. ^ When playing online, Zhou Tai can be saved when there are duplicate cards so long as someone uses a peach to save him as soon as the matching card is flipped.

  9. ^ Oh, I am talking about PEACH GARDEN. After flipping the card(s), all players can choose to save him or not. For every PEACH, he can discard one card on his character card. Sorry for the ambiguity.

  10. I have a question, it is said the the kingdom wars' 無懈可擊(NEGATE) will Negate the effect of an action card for all players belonging to the same kingdom, so am i correct in assuming that using an 無懈可擊(NEGATE) and a 桃園結義(PEACH GARDEN) I could only heal the players in my kingdom?
