Description:The FIRE ATTACK card can be obtained if you have purchased the Battle Expansion Pack. It works the same way as the normal ATTACK 杀 card, except that the damage inflicted has a fire element attribute.
What it does:
There are 2 scenarios where FIRE ATTACK is different from normal ATTACK.
1. When your target opponent is linked to another opponent by IRON SHACKLES 铁索连环
2. When your opponent has equipped RATTAN ARMOR 藤甲.
In scenario 1, multiple players may be shackled to the target player being attacked with this card. If the target player fails to dodge, every player shackled to the target will receive 1 unit of damage.
In scenario 2, the player that equipped RATTAN ARMOR is impervious to all normal ATTACK but is susceptible to 2 units of damage if the player fails to dodge the FIRE ATTACK.
How to use it:
Usage is identical to ATTACK card.
How is this different from LIGHTNING ATTACK 雷杀:
As you can probably tell, both cards are VERY similar except for one difference: the effect they have on RATTAN ARMOR. If the target player fails to dodge, FIRE ATTACK causes 2 units of damage while LIGHTNING ATTACK only causes 1 unit of damage.
Suppose player A and B both has rattan armour equipped, and they are shackled. If I use a fire attack on player A and he doesnt have dodge, does it mean he take 2 damages and B get 3 damages?
ReplyDeleteThis question has been hanging in the air for a while. Recently there has been a conclusive answer from the YOKA site.
ReplyDeleteThe damage transmitted to the shackled party (B) will be calculated based on the final damage that A suffers.
In this case, A suffers 2 fire damage, thus the amount channeled across the shackles is 2 units. B receives 2 units of fire damage, then +1 due to Rattan armour. Therefore B receives 3 units of fire damage.
If you are playing a character that can play an ATTACK card for you, say Guan Yu, can he play any type of ATTACK card or just the normal ATTACK card?

Can you Attack yourself? say you play down to 2 player and the other player has an amazing armor/ability and you can't attack him, so you chained yourself and your other player and use a fire attack on yourself?

ReplyDeleteElder Zhuge Liang cannot be the target of any ATTACK card.
And you can't ATTACK yourself.

Ans:
You cannot use ATTACK on yourself, but you use Duress 借刀杀人 to ask someone else to attack you with Fire Attack. Or you can ATTACK Zhang Jiao and get him to zap you with Lightning Strike, which will transmit to the one chained to you.
