The OKF 2012 pack is fatter than expected. There are 16 playable cards (includes 4 OKF revisions), one special character card, and 1 shiny card from the Fire Expansion (I got Xun Yu shiny!!).

Who are the four revised OKF 2011 characters? If I had to guess, I would say Ling Tong, Yu Jin, Chen Gong, and that worthless turd Ma Su! In a way, I actually hope that they keep Ma Su the same. His failure at Jieting was so massive that he does not deserve to have good powers.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to say that the revised characters are Ling Tong, Zhang Chunhua, Xu Shu and Fa Zheng, which is totally unnecessary. At least you get one correct answer :)
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind me asking, what was changed? Did they completely change the powers, or just make minor tweaks? I can't imagine that Zhang Chun Hua and Fa Zheng really needed to be changed that much.

DeleteI kind of feel a similar way. However you know a lot of work goes into this blog, and probably not for much pay. I really appreciate all the work here. Maybe if the simple ability descriptions could be posted first, then the fun facts and cool details can be appended a little later ?
DeleteJust out of curiosity, a while back you set up an auction for a set of 25 shiny card i believe. Any idea how many packs it took you to buy before you finally got one of each ? I know you pretty much get a shiny card for every sgs product you buy. I got a sweet calender, some model weapons (came with shiny weapon cards btw...sweet), some bags...Still no complete collection. Just missing a couple tho.
Is there a 'definitive resource' that's english or chinese where it is frequently updated? Or like an official site or something with all the character listings and abilities?

DeleteSo i'm wondering about the new edition of the old YJ cards. Any idea what's up with these ? Are the descriptions just reworded or completely changed ? Are these rewords the new officials ?
ReplyDeleteThe names of the abilities remain unchanged, but the descriptions (as well as effects) are completely changed. These rewords are supposed to be the new officials, but you can pick either the original or the new ones to be used in game.
